The vCamMX-2 all-in-one mini inspection system gives you the flexibility to cover a range of inspections including indoor drain lines, residential plumbing, indoor commercial lines, and lateral lines up to four inches in diameter. The vCamMX-2 control module is designed and manufactured with the plumbing contractors' needs in mind. The latest technology in imaging and recording are packaged in a rugged ABS injection molded housing mounted to the stainless-steel frame is made specifically for harsh conditions. The Type-MX reels are made of stainless steel tubular construction with a lightweight rugged carbon fiber pushrod drum. The multi angle LCD and frame which can be used in an upright or horizontal position is usable in tight confined space use and stores easily in most utility vehicle compartments. The pushrod is traceable with the use of a utility locater transmitter and comes with a dual frequency built-in locatable sonde. Two user interchangeable camera heads fit the Type-MX reel giving the user flexibility to handle lines from one to four inches. The system is available in 100 and 150 foot lengths.

Using a skid with your camera system can accomplish three things. Firstly, the skids center the camera head and keep it off the floor of the pipe. Secondly it will reduce drag on the camera head which results in greater pushing distance. Lastly, the skids protect the camera head.
The 2-1/4” Skid is a good fit day to day usage skid. This skid will keep the camera off the floor of the pipe, protects the camera and helps improve the lighting. Available for the D18-MX and D34 series cameras.
The 3” Skid is best used in 4 inch to 6 inch pipes. The skid will keep the camera off the floor of the pipe, protects the camera and helps improve the lighting. Available for the D26-MX, D34, and D46 series cameras.

Type-B Skid is adjustable with roller blade type wheels. It can be used in all pipe materials and adjusts from 8 to 12 inches. Available for the D34 and D46 camera series.

The vLoc3-Cam is the easiest to use sonde locator on the market today. The omni-directional antenna array allows for approaching the sonde from any position. The directional arrows will guide the user first to the front or rear locate point and then directly to the sondes position. The vLoc3-Cam includes multiple sonde frequencies making it compatible with the major push cameras and crawler cameras on the market. The Pushrod Trace mode shows a second display geared for tracing the path of the pushrod deployed in the pipe or tracing pipes with an optional portable transmitter. The vLoc3-Cam comes with two Passive locate modes of Power and Radio which will detect the presence of live power lines, CATV, telephone and some metallic pipes which radiate 50/60 Hz from nearby or overhead power lines. For active locating, with the use of a portable transmitter, the vLoc3-Cam comes with an 83.1kHz frequency for tracing the pushrod. This frequency is also ideal for water and gas utilities which generally are larger pipes with bell housings and gaskets as well as locating ungrounded small diameter drop wires and inducing signals through the soil, onto services when direct connecting is not an option.

The VM-540 Sonde Locator is designed for reliable daily use in hostile environments. The VM-540 comes standard with sonde/camera frequencies of 512Hz, 640Hz, and 33KHz. The VM-540 receiver is also equipped with a “passive” Power locate mode which will detect the presence of power lines and some metallic pipes which radiate 60 Hz from nearby or overhead power lines.
